The new "The RFP Blueprint" one-day seminar from Procurepath will examine Request for Proposal drafting from the perspective of a public procurement specialist. Additionally, it will examine the RFP procedure from the perspective of how suppliers view and subsequently react to an RFP. This seminar's goal is to arm participants with the resources they need to create an effective RFP and a thorough understanding of running the RFP process.

Performance measurement is the process of collecting, analyzing, and/or reporting information regarding the performance of an individual, group, organization, system, or component. Performance measurement is not a new concept, Some of the earliest records of human activity relate to the counting or recording of activities. Procurement measurement systems measure the effectiveness of the procurement function. While widely used in the private sector, procurement measurement systems are just starting to be implemented in many public-sector organizations. This seminar will provide a roadmap to implementing a procurement measurement system in your organization.

Public Works Contracting Under New York General Municipal Law - Virtual One-Day Seminar

Instructor: Paul J. Brennan, FNIGP, CPPO, NIGP-CPP

This is offered through the New York State Association of Municipal Procurement Officials. 


This seminar  is a recommended for purchasing agents, school business officials, public works directors, municipal engineers and project managers to understand the laws dictating how a local government hires and constructs (or demolishes) any government building, structure, or road. The seminar will include a review of terms frequently used in the construction industry, an in-depth look at prevailing wage requirements, and a review of the legal requirements that local governments must observe when undertaking any construction project. The final part of this seminar contains excerpts from relevant portions of the New York State General Municipal Law, Article 5A, Public Contracts.
